YOU CAN HELP ATTAIN FREEDOM FOR LEONARD PELTIER!

1. Educate yourself about the facts of the case. Visit the Official LPDC web site at www.freepeltier.org and review the "Peltier FAQ." Or send us a self-addressed envelope and we will mail you a free information packet. Rent "Incident At Oglala" by Robert Redford from your local video store, read "Prison Writings, My Life Is My Sundance" by Leonard Peltier, read "In the Spirit of Crazy Horse" by Peter Matthiessen. To obtain these resources contact us!

2. Call the White House Comments Line and urge President Clinton to grant Executive Clemency to Leonard Peltier. Make the call at least once a week, and get your friends to call on the same day. The # is: 202-456-1111. If you can, call on your region's designated day: northeast-Monday, southeast-Tuesdays, Midwest-Wednesdays, northwest-Thursdays, southwest-Fridays. Call your Congress People too!

3. Stay up to date. Subscribe to "Spirit of Crazy Horse" news, the LPDC's official bi-monthly paper which includes updates on the case of Leonard Peltier and news on important issues involving Indigenous Peoples, the environment, and the Prison Industrial Complex. 4. Donate to the LPDC. Help fund our emergency campaign to win Executive Clemency for Leonard Peltier. We need proper funding for copying and postage, legal fees, publicity, and educational activities. Send a check or money order to:

5. Organize outreach and fund raising events. Help us spread the word. Show videos, organize talks, hold vigils and demonstrations, and have book readings. Ask us how!
